Why should you care if you save your bookmarks online so that they can be accessed from any computer with an Internet browser? "You can also use del.icio.us to see the interesting links that your friends and other people bookmark, and share links with them in return. You can even browse and search del.icio.us to discover the cool and useful bookmarks that everyone else has saved . . ." (http://del.icio.us/about/).
We have decided to incorporate this useful web site into our daily library lives here at the WPL. We find it to be much more efficient and productive when our librarians are trying to find
answers to reference questions that get asked over and over (and even the ones that don't!). It's very easy to sign up for a del.icio.us account and it includes two big buttons for use on your Internet Explorer/Firefox browser to help save your bookmarks, among other things. The only thing I haven't figured out about this web site is where it got its name - del.icio.us. Anyone have any ideas?
