Print Screen

Did you know that you can actually take a 'snapshot' of your screen for use in various applications such as research papers, technical writing, or troubleshooting with a technician on the phone that can't see your screen? It's actually very, very easy!

All you have to do is hold down the CTRL key and the Print Screen/SysRq key at the same time. When you do, you are effectively Copying a screenshot to the clipboard. Then all you have to do is go to your document, e-mail, etc. and Paste the screenshot. Voila! (Incidentally, the bottom part of the Print Screen button, SysRq, is a key on keyboards for PCs that has no standard use. See http://www.answers.com/topic/sysrq for more information.)
