Keyboards Kwikies

I try to keep my hands on the keyboard whenever possible when I am using a computer. That means that shortcut keys are as second nature to me as eating and sleeping.

Shortcut Keys are the keys or key combinations that provide quick access to frequently performed commands or operations. For example, if you Copy and Paste frequently, you might like to know that holding the Control key while you tap the letter C on the keyboard will Copy and holding the Control key while you tap the letter V on the keyboard will Paste. This is represented in text as CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

Shortcut keys can also be represented by the Function keys that run across the top of your keyboard. If you see F5 represented as a shortcut key, for example, it means the key F5, not the letter F and the number 5.

I have put together my favorite shortcut keys that I have discovered over the years. I am also including some Internet Explorer 7 shortcut keys that I just read about! I hope you find this information will increase both your efficiency and productivity and decrease your frustration with computers.
